The North Devon AONB Marathon involves a demanding yet beautiful course. With Woolacombe bay as the centre-point, runners will follow a figure-of-eight around some stunning coastal scenery as well as some inland treats. By choosing this type of route, you are given the option of completing a half-marathon, as well as the full marathon for those who want to take it on. The steep inclines and mixture of terrain is enough to test any experienced runner, so make sure you sign up fast as places are strictly limited. Go to: http://www.northdevonmarathon.co.uk/

This is a perfect excuse to combine a holiday with a great race. This race is also spectator friendly so why not bring the other half, or the whole family for a weekend away. If they are not keen on watching sweaty sporty types in short shorts theirs always the beach for a spot of sunbathing!! So don’t forget to check out are accommodation list for friendly places to stay.
