Head South is a gay owned holiday company based around the beautiful beaches of North Devon.

We specialize in women only holidays, but are not exclusive, so if you see what you like please get in contact. We can arrange a number of different types of accommodation, and a wide range of activities from surfing and coasteering, to learning to paint.

I am born and bred Devon and have lived in North Devon for 10 years. I moved to North Devon for the beaches and the surfing, and the many other outdoor activities I enjoy. It really is one big playground, and that is the reason I started this site. North Devon is welcoming to everyone and being a lesbian I have never encountered any problems. This is an amazing holiday destination, and can be enjoyed by everyone and I can guarantee you will go home feeling relaxed, and possibly addicted to the wide open spaces that got me hooked years ago.

We know first hand how hard it can be when booking a holiday, you want to visit places that you can’t be sure are going to be welcoming. Let alone when you want a double bed and not two singles! I have visited all the accommodation personally and would not allow it on the site if I wasn’t sure you are going to get the best service and quality. This is the same for the activities, if we can’t run them ourselves we will ensure you get the next best thing. Also we have the ‘knowledge’; you want to know a good restaurant just ask, we could even book it for you.
